Re: One hella good trip
You absolutely slaughtered the AJs this year. Nice job. I think the flat seas video was my favorite. Days like that just don't pop up too often.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgsUhbx93aA To be honest I was half temped to say I freedove for them! It could have been done though... need to download my Cobra when I get back, pretty sure I shot 1st at 75' and 2nd at 80-90 ft... I remember more blood from that trip than I care to remember (due to the YFT we caught), everything else was kinda overshadowed by that first time experience. Oh, and I had planned on taking a short video to show the wife what it is that I do and then saw that AJ... I had intended to follo it up with some good shots of the depths of Teuila in high res... just decided to cancel that last bit and minimize my underwater tasking. Cleaned up the AJ at my safety stop, oh what a tangled web he doth weave... first time I have made it back to the boat without having to be on stable footing to figure out that mess. Oh, and Ryan, I got that Riding rig down brotha! It roks! Last edited by Mako Mike; 11-07-2007 at 12:18 PM. |
