RIP LUIS - Diver killed cleaning yacht in North Palm a father of 2 girls
Luis is a diver who worked for a hull cleaning service who monthly cleans my boat Enterprise.
Another one of the cleaning Company's team named Jon cleaned Enterprise yesterday. Luis was a very nice guy who I saw often at Force E Dive Shop or on my dock. Poor guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Luis was cleaning the bow thruster on a 164 foot Westport when someone on the boat fired up the bow thruster. Severe facial trauma resulted and I think Luis died instantly. This accident is extremely sad. I was worried about him one time last year and called the cleaning service. Luis had parked at my place and cleaned my boat by entering the water at my dock. But, he was underwater a very long time and there were no bubbles at my boat. Ultimately, we discovered Luis had swam across the Earman River and cleaned other boats on the other side. Luis was a super nice guy and has two children. Terrible loss for sure. So sad. May Luis rest in eternal peace.
