Bulls everywhere

Went out Wednesday 07/11 good vis shot a limit od ARS and close to a limit of Gags. Loaded up on 18-24 inch hogs. The Bulls were everywhere we went couldn't keep them off of us. Still had a great day and got back in the boat with all our limbs. 58 miles off of Crystal River. The short vid is just after we got up from our third dive. I think they were a little pissed about missing out on dinner.

Re: Bulls everywhere

That's crazy with the sharks. I've never seen them stick around the surface like that. And the water looks beautiful. Gotta love those days when the ocean is like glass

@ the end of the video someone said “Shame we don’t have another fish to throw them”...

If you were throwing them fish you are not helping the rest of us diving this area.....

Re: Bulls everywhere

Pretty wild, never had them on the surface like that after a dive , however numerous times at depth solo diving... 2 options IMO, a shark shield or as captadam123 mentioned , boom boom... or both . CYA.

Re: Bulls everywhere

we dont give sharks fish period. They have memories and get more agressive the more people feed em. Like i said if they bother you, boom boom

Re: Bulls everywhere

The fish that was "Thrown" to them was a carcass from the bait board used for cut bait we were packing to head in and had to put the board away. never fed a shark yet not in or out of the water. I dive the area regularly and don't want them to associate divers with food. On the flip side I'm not going to tote fileted grunt with me either. I do carry a power head but up till now a good poke with a spear point has done the trick. They were very aggressive that day more so than I've ever seen them but still didn't feel the need. And no Dreamer you didn't save my fish your poop trail did. LOL:
