Diving with rash guard and separate hood
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has experience diving with a separate rash guard and hood ie 2 pieces instead of a 1 piece hooded rash guard. Is it a PITA? Do you have problems with water coming into the hood and/or the hood moving around? I am cheap and have a surfing rash guard and am looking to buy a separate hood with a bib to tuck inside my rash guard instead of buying a 1 piece for 50-80$. Thanks. |

Re: Diving with rash guard and separate hood
I use a lycra hood frequently. there should be no issues. If there is going to be a problem with water entrapment, it is going to be associated with the rash guarde shirt and the neck, not the hood.

I'm cheap and don't even use a hood. And my water is pretty cold.
Actually, maybe I should get a hood.
