Re: 2017 Trident X Results

I got this from Vanessa today:

Another great Triton X Open has come and gone and it keeps getting better every year. This is our 12th year of doing this event and every year we learn something new. This year we had over 75 people submit fish, abalone or scallops to the weigh tables. There were 9 abalone over 10” submitted this year and the winning scallop was 8.03.” Congratulations to all our winners.

Thank you to all who participated in the Triton X Open 2017. I hope you all had a great time. This event would not happen without all of you participating. As a thank you to all the divers Freedive Shop is offering a 10% off your next online order until Halloween. Please use coupon code: TXOPEN2017.

Thank you again to all our sponsors and helpers. We would like to give a special thank you to Caspar RV Park and Campground who did a great job roasting 2 pigs.

Triton X is the largest spearfishing tournament in California and one of the largest in the nation. No other tournament is able to give so much in prizes which is only made possible by our sponsors. I hope you all enjoy the gear graciously donated by:
Banks Board / Kelli’s Ocean Sports
Freedive Shop
Meister
Mares
Ocean Hunter
Rob Allen
Yazbeck
Please remember all prize exchanges have to be handled by the end of this year 2017. Please contact Freedive Shop if you have any questions.

Please feel free to send us any feedback and pictures from this year’s Triton X Open. Thank you again and we hope to see you all at next year’s event September 15, 2018.

Happy Diving,
Freedive Shop Staff
