I have added alot of pics to the Sea Tigers Spearfishing Club websight.
I would like to thank "Tiger Mitch" Cancine, and Darren "Gumby" Bourgeois for letting me use so many of there old pics. Many of the pics added are from 1959 through the mid 60's. Any one interested in taking a look go to www.seatigers.us Scott |

Re: Sea Tigers websight
Great job Scott. I got you on the Aqua Aces Website, ROK is adding you to the Hell Diver Site I think Scott Brady is getting the Frogmen site up soon and I am sure he will put you on there. Now all we have to do is got out the word about the gar rodeo. I will do all I can for that. Thanks for the update to the site. You guys doing the GM tarpon rodeo on the first weekend of July?
Later, Robbie

Re: Sea Tigers websight
Thanks Robbie.
I guess alot of people avoid the gar rodeo because of the cold water, and I can't blame them I ain't crazy about it either. But everyone is still welcome to the weigh in. They can dress warm, drink, and have fun. I won't be able to make GM, but I'm sure we will have some ST out there. We have a few guys with flexible schedules who get to make all of the rodeos. Rok has added us to the HD sight, and the Rok Zone. Tell Scott B when he gets the Frogmen sight up to send me the link, I will add it to the link page on our sight. Scott C. |

Re: Sea Tigers websight
Thanks for the positive comments. I had no idea what I was doing, but the program was pretty easy to figure out, even for a coonass like me.
That pic is Gumby's son on the right he is holding an eyeball from an AJ, I'm not sure who the other kid is. Scott C |

Great Pictures Scott!
Its really cool to see the older ones and the gear and boats in some of them. Now if we can just get the Jewfish Lottery going. Our website is in the works, will keep ya informed. |

Re: Sea Tigers websight
Cool, let me know when you get your sight up and running. I will put a link to it on our sight.
Sorry about the late response. My wife just got out of the hospital. She spent 12 days and had 8 operations because of a flesh eating bacteria that is getting too common in the fresh water around here. It got pretty bad. Scott. |

Re: Sea Tigers websight
It's a bacteria called Vibrio vulnificus. Here is an article on it.
http://www.fracturecarecenter.com/ne...sp?articleId=1 Luckly for her she was already being treated for a yellow jacket sting, so she was on antibiotics. That seemed to slow the spread of the infection. Scott. |
