Once in a life time planet viewing happening in the S.E. USA

http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essent...saturn-mercury

I noticed it in the SE sky. A planet much brighter than usual. I then found the evidence for such above.

One of the simple things I enjoy here is watching the stars at night here. Not a lot of light pollution so everything in the sky is lit up.
When I was in Floridah I could run my airboat towards Tamiami trail going west from Chrome ave. and see the stars or off Elliot Key anchored in Ceasars creek for the night.By the time I left there was too much light pollution to bother.
Montana/Canada border is amazing at night. No lights or man made noise and Northern lights along with the stars.

The sky is so rarely clear here in the PNW. You wanna see stars you gotta go to the other side of the Cascades.
