Re: 3-D printed mask go pro mount

I would be happy to upload the .STL's to Shapeways for anyone looking for different colors. Be prepared to pay though. They get about $40 plus shipping for this mount printed in black plastic. I will upload the .STL tomorrow from work, and post the link here.

Re: 3-D printed mask go pro mount

I have used Shapeways a number of times, and they have always been very fast, with excellent quality and communication. I've been very pleased with the parts that the have made for me.

That said, do not let the word "gun" appear anywhere or they will cancel the order. Not in the file name, or the description, or the email address, or the paypal account. The have a VERY strict policy against weapons (except for miniatures). I tried to explain that my parts were for fishing, and not for firearms, but they wouldn't budge.

Here is the tread with my first video filmed with the samurai mount. Shot with an original Go Pro Hero without a filter, so the quality could be better. The mount worked well, barely noticed the camera on my head.

Sporasub Mystic is fairly popular as well.
Great mask.

I have a superocchio that I drilled a hole in for a gopro mount.
It's silicone is the fight firmness to handle the extra weight / load.

The micromask shod be solid enough as well.

I worry that the silicone of the mystic may be too soft.

Micromask mount please. I actually have a clone but I can't imagine it would make a difference.
