Winter target shooting

Thinking about what I can do while out there in the winter months. Has anybody ever tried taking targets out with them and target shooting? I was thinking about empty milk jugs tied to a rock with 4-5 ft of line as a target. Sharpen the skills before Tog comes into season.

Re: Winter target shooting

I found that PE detergent jugs show up better, and last longer (number of impacts) than milk jugs, and float just as well. Don't forget to remove any shaft barbs so you can get it out of the plastic.
