Yeah I dove Wednesday and viz was very marginal, and not a lot of bugs at all, definitely some fish around though. Hoping to jump in tomorrow!!

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread

Was looking to head down to the Malibu stretch from the bay area this upcoming weekend (12/27-12/30). That swell that has been coming through the last few days has probably stirred it up pretty good but if anyone takes a look at the water today please let me know what it looks like. I might just wait a bit longer if need be. I will just be bug hunting so I don't need more than 6 feet.

Thanks

You'll find 6 ft. The good news is that we are expecting strong off shores starting tonight. They typically turns the water over and brings in cold but clear diving.

Scuba dove the slack low tide last night south of Dume. Looked really good to me, 10-20 ft vis. Found some bugs in that 10-15 ft zone.
