SeaSucker Sunction Cup
Does anyone have any experience with the suction cups mounting tanks or any accessories? Thinking about trying them out for some tank holders and other things.

Re: SeaSucker Sunction Cup
Yes they work great. On a prior boat I built pvc boxes that I could take on and off the boat with sea suckers. On my current boat I've put 4 tank holders on a roll control and mounted it on the back of my helm seat. Not only do I not put more holes in the boat, but depending on the trip, I've got options to set the boat up different ways.

Do you use the 4.5" or the 6"? They use the 6" for there tank holders, but the 4.5" are rated for 120lbs. I would think that would be plenty? Do you have any pictures available?

Re: SeaSucker Sunction Cup
While not for tanks, we use a 6" sea sucker to keep the big frigid rigid from sliding back when its rough.

Re: SeaSucker Sunction Cup
So assuming I uploaded correctly. One pic you can see in the corner the pvc tank holder with gun rack on front. You can barely see the seasucker in the back.
Pic 2 is current 4 tank rack. I already had the seasuckers and just bought the roll control and cut to fit. |

Re: SeaSucker Sunction Cup
Ok cool. Thanks. Looks like you have the 6" I guess I'll go with those unless you think the smaller cup will work.

Re: SeaSucker Sunction Cup
Yeah I used 6 inch to be safe since it was 4 tanks of weight. Added bonus of current setup is space between roll control and boat created by seasuckers is a nice spot for fins.

Re: SeaSucker Sunction Cup
I made this for all related dive gear. Fins, stringer, gloves, etc.
