I need help.. Too much bad luck buying guns

I'll start by saying I live on Oahu, Hi. I've had OVER a month of gun purchasing issues. I've gone through 2 defective guns (I won't call out the company even though I'm out $70 in shipping alone sending guns back that were bad and won't be reimbursed that... not to mention all the other people who get sent guns with the same problem) and finally asked for a refund. After that I did more research and decided what I wanted. I check authorized dealers and there is one here in Hawaii but the dive shop hasn't responded to my emails for over a week and frankly I'm sick of waiting after this long of issues during summer diving and just buying a boat.
I'm trying to purchase a Pathos Sniper-R 105 (or 95 if you can't get the 105 anymore).
I've emailed Pathos, no response.
Dive shop, no response.
My next options would be ordering through a shop in another country which is what I wanted to avoid.
I need the assurance of going through an authorized dealer since my recent experiences with the Shitstick (defective guns nickname) left a really shitty taste in my mouth.
Can anyone suggest how I should treat this extremely frustrating situation at this point? Or maybe have a suggestion... Possibly know someone that could push my message forwards to Pathos? It shouldn't be this complicated to purchase the gun you want.

Mahalos!
Andy

You could try spear america, they carry Pathos guns and Iíve had a couple orders shipped to Kauai with no issue. Theyíre located in California so shipping cost would be the only thing. You could also try Hanapaía fishing in Honolulu, but I havenít been there in a while and am not sure what they carry currently. They have a decent selection though. Good luck.

I tried calling spear America (dive shop may have seen this and decided to respond to me and suggested them...) but they don't answer their phones.
I don't know why a Pathos authorized dealer can't let me pay for them to order it directly through Pathos...
Maybe I just don't try and talk to SA sales department when I pick a department but that's who I wanted to speak with... so I pressed #2...
I'm super sour about dealing with anyone I have trouble getting a hold of.
Maybe this is why people open dive shops.. They think they can make a better experience for customers.
I'm about to just move on and find another Roller manufacture that is a little more customer focused.

I know Spear America just transferred to a new website so not sure if that has anything to do with being busy. I hear ya on being able to speak with someone and not being able to get a response either way. I would try and give Spear America another shot and see if you can speak with Petros. I've ordered a bunch of things through him and the website and his customer service has always treated me well.

You can also try Nautilus Spearfishing (Florida) and talk to Andrew there. I saw the Sniper R available there as well. I ordered my last gun parts from him (built me an awesome shooting inverted roller).

Honestly if I would just select a place and place your order with either of the two shops above. You'll probably get it pretty quick and with tracking info. Both also seemed to have the 105 you wanted.

Glad to hear you were able to pick up your boat. Hopefully you've found people to keep you company or dive with.

Andy,

You should check out West Side Dive. The last time I was in there was about a month ago and they had multiple size Pathos Sniper-R's in store. Small place but the people are always helpful.

Contact numbers at the bottom of the web page.

SpearAmerica all the way. Thats where I got my Pathos gun. I haven't tried the new Pathos Sniper-R 105 yet though. Make sure you are calling during their business hours though: PST.

Also try Red Triangle Spearfishing in Petaluma, CA (NorCal). Parviz runs the shop and they're an authorized Pathos dealer with great customer service.

My carbon 90 pathos was one of my favorite guns Iíve ever used once tuned correctly. Lights out on 20lb red snapper and sure it could take much bigger fish freediving

Lucky you. I've read so many mixed reviews that I won't buy one. And they're not cheap though.
