Lookin' good! So glad you got that radar tripod off the deck - I know the plan was always to remove it, but it was awkward seeing it there. The pilot house is looking more and more like a part of the boat, and like it really belongs there. Soldier on!

Re: Dirty Pilothouse progress
more progress. Better use of time than the lost speargun thread.
Front half basically done, and started on rear half. Roof coming along nice. Convex crown looking excellent. Ran out of Epoxy Resin, and $$. need to wait till next paycheck to continue. I need to run a little more glass on the roof, to retain the crown, then lower aft section of roof to ground, and finish ceiling and rest of roof on sawhorses. The forward half of roof is done, and has white Epoxy primer embedded w non skid particles. And a November surprise. One of my formerly dormant Gardenias August Beauty has bloomed gloriously. Which is kinda nice when compared to slaving 13 ft in the air in the hot sun and fiberglass dust. Last edited by Bwano; 11-24-2012 at 07:29 PM. |

The flower is beautiful. I love the smell of gardenias. You can call the fish with the loud hailer!
