Getting back in the water!

After a couple years of being dry for the most part, I pulled the trigger on another boat and plan on doing the same on the local grouper and snapper populations in my neck of the woods. As I mentioned, I haven't been out up here in a couple years and was wondering what effect that the last Red Tide that everyone is talking about had on the fish, and where they have moved as a result of it. Has anyone gone out of the Homosassa/Crystal River area recently and at what depths are the Gags and ARS? I have numbers from 25'- to the Middle Grounds, just need an idea on where to start. Thanks!

Re: Getting back in the water!

Red tide is all down by Sarasota from what I've heard. Since it is triggered by nutrient rich runoff I imagine it is contained inshore but that's a guess. Congrats on the boat

I was up that way Sunday and we limited out on both of those categories in 100'. Got some nice hogs and plenty of mangos around as well.
