Thumbs up KLO Weather Watch - The Final Push Towards The Final Conflict!

One really nice feature of Spearboard is the weather forecasts drop-down menu at the top of the front page. Here are some sample images from there. The good news is that in many areas (not everywhere) the seas are predicted to lay down in the days before this next KLO tournament weekend. The weather has also helped with a change in fish conditions in many areas. I personally witnessed much more fish activity off Palm Beach yesterday than in prior weeks. The bull sharks are back so what does that tell ya? Let's keep our fingers crossed that Father Weather and Mother Nature do the right thing!

Thumbs up Re: KLO Weather Watch - The Final Push Towards The Final Conflict!

Still looking pretty good for Saturday in many areas.

At the Captain's Meeting last night, one savvy Keys fisherman who has been at it for decades said the visibility is pretty good down there right now and the wind/seas have been less than the marine weather forecast projected. Let's hope that holds true for there and other areas Saturday.

As far as Hurricane Paloma is concerned, it looks like we will be lucky. The forecasted tracks and computer models show the following.

Remember our weigh-in place is under the main building structure in the covered parking area. The dinner, expo and awards ceremony are all upstairs in very comfortable air conditioned resort conference space.

I look forward to seeing everyone there.
