Re: Santa Barbara Conditions Report "Perma-Thread"

Need to sell my 17' RIB, this is a great dive platform for the coast or Islands. Very stable and dry boat. Located in Goleta. I have young kids, dont have time to use it. Tubes are in great shape, haven't added air in over two years. Replaced the Aluminum fuel tank a couple years back, hardly used it since. Always covered.

Looks like a great rig! Ever try to beach launch it or just no way?

We have never tried, but it is probably possible to rig it up for beach launching. It was rigged for Gaviota pier.

Had a little break from dental school this weekend so made the drive to town and got out with my dad and brother. Viz was awful (looks 10 times better in the video) but luckily a nice little seabass swam in front of me.

Heres the vid.

The next vid that popped up showed you shoot a 65lb fish in better viz. I bet that one was an easier shot although picking which one of the three to pull the trigger on might be tough :-). I'm assuming it was the biggest one? Hard to tell in the vid.

Hey Blake! Come join us (Santa Barbara Freedivers Club) at our next meeting. We meet every first Wednesday of the month at the downtown Rusty’s Pizza. The meeting time details are the same as previous posts in this thread.

You’ve gotta be a paid member of the SB Freedivers Club to get added.

Re: Santa Barbara Conditions Report "Perma-Thread"

Hey Everybody. I’ve got a 24’ Skipjack that I need to find a storage spot for. Ideally I’d like to store it in SB Goleta or Carp. I can provide occasional diving trips and or pay for the storage spot, let me know thanks!

Hey all, I lost a C4 Red Falcon Fin with Omer pocket at Poison Oaks about a week ago --- If anyone has found it I'd love to make a donation for its return.

sorry for off topic.
