Inverted roller build

I have a spare 120 rob allen tuna laying around at home. Im considering converting it into an inverted roller or a standard 120 2x16.

ive never done an inverted roller conversion, but im fairly familiar with a conventional roller setup.

how do i do an inverted roller?

Re: Inverted roller build

That's a big question. I would start by looking through all of the threads. I have one (albeit very incomplete) titled "inverted roller build." Also look at alemanni and other builders who post on this site for ideas.

Essentially, bands on the bottom are attached to a sheave/pulley. The pulley pulls on a line which travels around a roller at the muzzle. Other than that, gonna need to do some background research and come back with more specific questions for us to be of any help.

You could also buy a kit from roisub. You'll have to check to make sure it'll fit a rob allen.

Re: Inverted roller build

I would get an inverted mannysub roller. 125cm will be plenty of power.

Alternatively, MVD has an inverted roller head but you will have to put your own bands together and install pretension knobs on the sides and below (where the reel usually sit. That way you can have 3 sets or bands

Re: Inverted roller build

fack it, too many moving parts. Ill just stick to 2x16 and keep it as a spare gun.
