You Can Read If You Fo to the Upper Gulph Coast Forum.But the Intel i Got Was He Locked Into A Real Big Fish The Fish Slammed Him Into the Side Of The Oil Rig And Knocked Him Unc.His Dive Computer Read 380 Feet He Was Able To Pull his Weights But there Was Nothing They Could Do.I Will tell you that The Hell Divers Are A Good Bunch of Guys.They took Care of My Buddys Family.

wow......I dont know if I would ever be able to dive near some oil rigs im a wuss for diving in areas where big sharks are prone to cruise....But it sucks to hear news of another spearfisherman leaving us....Makes me even more cautious.....

well they say that Tigers love dirty murky water in the mid to high 70's. at least the water here in NJ is............dirty murky and 75 degrees

note on vis.....a guy i know was in the water yesterday in Cape May.....still sucked! he said there was 1-2 feet at best.

Don't worry about tiger sharks but there are brown sharks aka sandbar sharks that love to come into the shallow water in sept/oct.I was in manasquan inlet a few years ago and had some come past after I had shot some tog.
As a matter of fact that day I had to take a scuba diver back to the point pleasant side because he was harrassed by two sharks on the bottom and wound up surfacing close to me on the manasquan side.Lol I remember his eyes filled out his mask.JJ tomorrows not looking good at this point.Maybe drive down sunday am for high tide.

The water today near atlantic city was super calm and much colder than it was last weekend
I had good viz (10ft at slack high going down to about 3 ft three hours later).
It was strange though, the tog were all holed up. Anyone ever see this behavior during calm water? Maybe they're not used to the cold yet? Saw a few striper, but no takers.
