How about you take your opinion and shove it so far up your ass you hear it rattle around in that loose space in between your ears?

Re: I Won The Open! 5-17-08 Report.

I have some reservations about hunting methods, but I apply them to myself. I make sure I dont hunt in the way that I dont agree with.

MORE IMPORTANTLY THAN HOW YOU GET YOUR FISH, IS THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO GET THEM. SCUBA OR FREEDIVING, IF WE DONT CONTINUE TO STICK TOGETHER WE ARE EASILY GOING TO LOSE THE PRIVILEDGE OF SHOOTING FISH.

cbuzo - you have a serious case of diarhea of the mouth. You've also tried to attack me in my hunting thread. Keep your left wing, liberal, bull$hit thoughts to yourself.

Re: I Won The Open! 5-17-08 Report.

Rob, Congrats again. I was there watching you try to figuer out which of those three massive hogs you wanted to weigh in.

On the other side, I hunt both with tanks and freediving so this little debate has been quite entertaining.

NOW, let me add fuel to the fire.

Would all of you like to debate the use of Scooters while on Scuba next??

I'll get some more popcorn!

Me too, love them both.

I find it asinine as all idiocy when someone comes on instigating online riots complaining about scuba vs. freediving when there are longliners, shrimp trawlers, etc all continuing to destroy the environment through their methods while us recreational fishermen get the royal screw over. Its ludicrous that in the light of the red snapper closure last week, the state and federal grouper closures, that someone will start the scuba vs. freediving debate. Its just stupid in astronomical proportions.

Don't care, never have never will. But you're right, there's someone out there that will start some online bullshit over it.

You are the one who opened your mouth and derailed someone else's thread. I told you once before to take your bitching to another thread. You should have done that a long time ago.

Re: I Won The Open! 5-17-08 Report.

There aren't many countries where SCUBA spearfishing is practised. The best argument against it is that there are many species that are particularly vulnerable to spearfishing, and by restricting spearfishing to freediving, you are effectively protecting most of the fish below 80 feet. In New Zealand, it isn't illegal to spearfish on SCUBA, but very few people do it. I think Cbuzo has a fair point. I guess what it comes down to is "Those that can, do, and those that can't , use SCUBA"
