Got a picture of the plug in transport at a fuel stop on the turnpike the other day.

Oh man, I bet you are soooooo stoked...
Just curios, approximately how long will it take from when you made your order till the boat gets delivered? |

Re: Ameracat 31
That can't be judged until they get the mold built and it's in production. Plus I'm doing some different options so it would change that anyway. Once its in production I think they will have pretty good turnaround time.
The longer it takes to place your order the longer it takes to get your boat.

Re: Ameracat 31
Went down yesterday to watch them pull the mold off the plug or actually pulled the plug from the mold. There's a short video of it on their website.
It won't be long now.

Re: Ameracat 31
Awesome! What kind of power are you going with? Estimated cruise speed loaded? MPG?

Re: Ameracat 31
I'm going with 300 verados and expecting cruise around 40 and ove 2mpg, maybe not fully loaded but who knows.
They just dropped the first one in the water today, and boy she looks awesome. It has 250 etechs on it once they get it propped right it should top out mid 50's. As it is they are hitting 4800 rpms and 44mph, the etechs should tach out wot around 6k rpms I think. They are updating the website, I don't know if it will have any video from today or not but it definitely should by first of the week. It will be ran quite a bit this wknd down in the keys for pics and videos

Re: Ameracat 31
Very interesting. I think I've seen you post on TheHullTruth before. Will the fit and finish on the interior be superior to the WorldCats? Not that there's anything wrong with WorldCats, just wondering for comparison. When I went boat shopping it came down to the 28 LOA Contender and the WC266 SF WorldCat. Love both boats, but went with the Contender due to lift and towing requirements I had to deal with.
Please keep the pics coming! Now that Ameracat is a REAL BEAST! Stoked for you. Enjoy!

Re: Ameracat 31
The finish is nothing like the WC. The interior finish is "fishermans finish" like the carolina skiff.
But the ride, well, I havn't gotten to confirm it but, It will spank them all.
