8 years of missing you JLB

I only log on once a year to Spearboard to reminisce about one of the best that ever held a speargun. Johnny "Longblades" Lumley.

I miss you my friend, that day still haunts me as I go through old photos, some make me smile and others bring a tear. It may only be once a year as a visit here, but its every single day that I remember him and how much I miss him.

Johnny, they broke the mold with you. Please keep your eye on those who so willingly enjoy what you and I once shared and make sure they stay safe. No one should ever have to go through this. I know that without Carla, I never could.

Re: 8 years of missing you JLB

I never met JLB but I'm humbled by the love of his friends and relatives that honor him and tell his story so others can know him better and understand that life is fragile and our risks we all take affect others for decades to come.

I lost more than one dive buddy and I know they will be forever in my thoughts.

Watch each other always and don't breed a unnessesary competitive nature among your buddies that can push us past our safe margins. RIP JLB
-only new to you-
