Re: 2015 Fresh Water Nationals

Sounds good
Now who can help organize a group to host a meet in Mead - Mohave?
RMSA can get the word out, provide scales, provide prizes....
We need a local group for logistics: permits, staging area, food, fish removal, wt in crew, score keeping crew, shirts..
It is not alot of work for 3-4 guys and RMSA can front $$ to kick start the show, we just need to start early.

Talk to the guys that organized the Micheal Burton Memorial Tournament about permit details, they are on spearboard. I like Utah because of shooting game fish, but I like clear water more than anything.

Wyoming seems good too, Game fish is good and they have clear water and numerous lakes. Hopefully Wyoming guys can chime in, RMSA had some pictures of lake trout and grayling speared at a lake, lets do that lake.

I am willing to help with preparation for an event in the Vegas area. I don't have time to head up the event but will be happy to perform specific tasks on assignment to support the event and provide logistical support on the day of the event.

Re: 2015 Fresh Water Nationals

I would like to help with the organization of this but I live out of state and it will be a major headache for me. I can give my time when I am there for weigh-ins or anyother tasks that are needed. Whomever takes this on should start dealing with the Parks Service ASAP, as I have heard they can be a bit difficult to communicate with for permits and such.

No let's not do fish lake. There is controversy that is going down there right now.it will just inflame arguments. That's why Dive Addicts canceled their tournament down there this year.
