Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

I dove the west side of beavertail this morning, it was the usual 4-8 feet. The seas were very calm, but kicked up big time around 2ish.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

North of Newport Bridge today vis was about what you'd expect after lots of wind and rain, maybe 3-4 feet, incoming tide.

Moved to East Passage 4-8 feet, incoming tide, limited on togs. Tons of stripers around all 20-24". Saw quite a few nice BSB too...it's like they know.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

Thank you, Agador, MeTAo and fishboy 76! This is all very helpful! I have dived today and found visibility to be pretty decent on high tide. Areas with sandy bottoms had visibility up to 6-7 feet, but less where there were boulders and/or kelp. Took three togs and saw some borderline striped bass, but hesitated to shoot as might have been too small.

Sachuest pt. didn't clear up still. Limited on togs. Saw good size striper, too late to shot.
