So FWC is going to recommend that if you land 10 lionfish, then you are allowed one(1) additional bug over the daily bag limit for your area. We've been suggesting this for years and it great they are going to give it a "Test" by executive order !! I know everyone wants more, but Hey this is atleast a start when we couldn't get them to move at all.

I can't, work issues. Even though this EO is small, it should easily pass.
My real question though....." Is it possible to buy stock in ZooKeeper ?? ", cause they are going to sell out.

sounds good but here in Miami I haven't seen ten lion fish in a days diving in a long time. Of course that will all change very soon as the Biscayne park closure will bring back the population in multiples.

Here is the actual Proposal for discussion on Thursday in Sarasota.
" Special Lionfish Removal Opportunity – Staff will discuss a proposed special opportunity for lobster harvesters to also harvest lionfish during the two-day lobster sport season (mini season). The proposal will allow individuals who harvest at least 10 lionfish per day to harvest one lobster per day over the bag limit during the two-day sport season. If approved, this special opportunity could be implemented via Executive Order and would apply to the 2015 sport season only". |

Any updates? Was Barracuda discussed at the meeting? If so, what was proposed?
