Ermes Inverted Roller Trucks
Anyone have any experience with these trucks? The version I bought have metal rollers instead of the black delrin/plastic ones in the images.
I plan on attaching 5 sets of bands on a big 60" gun at %350+ stretch. Any and all feedback would be appreciated. Really like the idea of a single consolidated system instead of individual twin pulleys. |

Re: Ermes Inverted Roller Trucks
I think these are for 7 connectors and 2 pulleys ... these are sold out but Mario mentioned he will make a new batch this September. He does have the 5 connector with one pulley in stock though. Leave it for the Italians to come up with some really really crazy contraptions Invert roller systems are coming thick and heavy there ... system Volcan ... system Match ... many others as well ... so these 7 connector rollers sold like hot cakes.

Re: Ermes Inverted Roller Trucks
I already got a set from One Breath Diving out of Australia. I really like the construction, though I may modify it so that all the bands lie flat instead of bunching up on top of each other.
Any input on how it may perform under extremely heavy loads? |

Re: Ermes Inverted Roller Trucks
I have had them for a while but never used them ... so unfortunately I have no idea how they stand up to high loads. They look pretty sturdy and I haven't heard anyone having any problems with them. I think they are actually made for nautical use ... so a few rubber bands would probably be within the usage profile.

Re: Ermes Inverted Roller Trucks
First impression is that it'd make the inverted roller experience a lot less prone to tangles and frustrating reloads. A design consideration is that the bottom of the gun will need to be flat where the pulleys travel. Also, they look heavy.
