Blue Water Safari with Keith

I booked a 3 day wahoo and rig dive trip with Keith of Blue Water Safari. Has anyone done this trip before?

Re: Blue Water Safari with Keith

Few guys in the CA forum have. Know a few TX guys also but not sure if they post on here as much.

I've never been on a 3 day trip but from the few trips I've been on and what I know about the other trips I'd expect monster fish, lots of sharks, more huge fish, even more sharks and to have an awesome time overall. Also expect to probably lose some gear. You'll probably hear Keith say it but in case you haven't yet, those fish will test every connection in your gear.

Link below is from a past trip I think. There's a shorter version called Jacks n Hoos, Sharks n Bulls but you should check out the full version anyways.

Yeah that video was made by my buddy Jeremy Caulkins. I'm actually trying to get him to do the trip with me as I have a few open spots.

Re: Blue Water Safari with Keith

I'm interested. I'd like to take a trip to visit my grandfather in Corpus in February, so maybe I could do both. I'll be there in a few weeks (see separate post)

I've only seen one hoo in my life. I've shot almost everything else. Video resume linked below...

Re: Blue Water Safari with Keith

Probably piss some people off but I had a bad experience never will go again if all you care about Is shooting fish then go cus hell put u on the fish for sure but when I went he lost track of other divers 3 time almost ran a diver over on to drifts deck hand almost gaff a guys hand the guy had to drop the still live fish back in the water so he wouldn't get gaffed then had to fight it up again. The boat didn't look very well maintained at all the bean bags were leaking and flat gear just thrown to the side including all the guns in one pile and it seamed like I paid for him to dive cus he was diving all the rigs with us so that's just my experience but if u just want to kill fish n care about nothing else I don't think there's many other people that will put you on so much fish
