Monterey Bay Tritons May Meeting
This is the official announcement for our Club Meeting on May 11. The Board has put together a great meeting that is all about "Adventure". As always non members are welcome to join us.
First up, Robert Watson will be making a 10 minute presentation about the Peace Boat. For those of you who are looking to take advantage of diving our amazing local islands for Pelagic species, the Peace Boat is your gateway to the fish gods!! Then, we have a special presentation by Sean Cross and Parviz Boostani from Red Triangle Spearfishing about Panama. They recently did a trip down to the Hannibal Lodge to chase Tuna, Almaco Jack, Pargo and a whole list of other amazing eating species. You don't want to miss out as they will be sharing their adventure, pictures and video. The trip sounded amazing and the hunting learning curve also sounded high. Looking forward to this one! And to TOP IT OFF, we are going to have a used gear SALE / SWAP So bring anything that you may want to sell cheap to a fellow Triton or trade. King of the Tritons Update: This will be the 2nd of 5 official scoring opportunity for the KOT Series. For all details about what fish you have shot and what fish are eligible, please check out the posts and web page. Scorecard is on this link: https://www.montereybaytritons.org/f...e-tritons-2019 Meeting Details: Black Bear Diner 2450 N Fremont St. Monterey, CA 93940 Fish must be at the weigh in station by 3pm (Don't be late or your fish may not be counted) Meeting starts at 3:30pm Triton SWAG: Triton SWAG: We will be bringing some Triton SWAG to this meeting as well.
