Video - Summer 2018 off Tarpon Springs

So I picked up a GoPro back on Amazon Prime Day and decided to try my hand at filming and editing a video. Filming was more fun than editing but tropical storm Gordon gave me some time to try to figure it out. The footage was all taken during this past August between 30' and 50' off Anclote.

Good, consistent work with the second shaft. Using multiple shafts to land fish is a discipline that not all freeshafters have learned to do efficiently. Nice work!

Great video. Very smart firing a second shaft into some of your fish to prevent a possible loss . I don't know why more spearos fail to do that ? Inexperience? Laziness? Over confident?

Thanks everyone, glad you enjoyed it! A spare shaft is a necessity for me since I can't seem to stone anything. Lol. Same goes for a gun mounted light and quick slide ring to shoot under the ledges.

I've got some good footage for another video so I'll put that together when I get time.

Nice, I liked the video too.
I haven't been out all summer, so I have to live through the videos that get posted here. Thanks.

Paul, email me - maybe we can get you out on the Pelican before the year is over - I've got lots of 3-4 day weekends coming up.

Thanks Eric. Will do. My busy season is done now and I have vacation days to take.
