All About Pole Spears & Slings What is it about that traditional method of the early hunter/gatherers under the water? These devices are indeed interesting and effective. |

couple of questions
Hi everyone,
Making a trip to the bahamas this summer and had a few questions about slings and polespears, this isn’t a which is better thread. Looking at the guerrilla sling or a keller polespear. I feel very natural and actually perform better with a sling, and love the distance and speed you get, but my favorite fish to eat/hunt is black grouper. Can a sling take down a holed up black? don’t really feel like getting a new shaft every time it gets bent up. So that brings me to the polespear. I also want to try to take down some AP or cobia, so I know that the pole might be better in this regard. I know kellers are well known for their durability and force, but I also want to be able to shoot muttons which are very fast and wary, and a big keller might be too slow. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: couple of questions
Just found out that Karl recently passed. So sad rip and prayers sent to his family.
