Gumbo, Gumbo and more Gumbo

Went out of JP today to an area that was almost Gumbo free a week ago. Hit 3 spots. Broken bottom and ledges were loaded up in Gumbo in 40'-50' range. Vertical vis.was top to bottom. Horz. vis. was 20'-30' depending on drifting algae. I only shot 1 fish in 48'. A nice ARS 23" long. Nice surprise . The other 2 buddies put a 25"gag, 4 nice hogs and 2 goes into the fishbox. Just wondering about Gumbo in 100' and deeper?

We were in 95’ west of Anclote Monday and the bottom was covered in gumbo. The water column was clean though.
