I spend hours a day in the summer swimming with a Comp 2 in freshwater, where if anything, it should be less buoyant and heavier. no worries.

time to hit the gym?

Do you have a Teak or Padauk? I think the Padauk is heavier, with it being the denser grain wood. Correct me if I am wrong .

I can track my Ulu 125 rearhandle through the water as easily as my buddies 130 aimrite. Tried it one day just out of curiosity

Re: Ulusub Spearfishing Co. New Speargun Range

Hey what you guys think,

Would going from a 120 Aimrite (measures 56" tip to butt) to the Ulusub 165 mid be too much of a stretch for deep reef / blue water gun ?

Also, never owned a woody, when is the preference out there, oil or epoxy finish?

I'm waiting also, from what I understand Jon is a perfectionist.... That's why he's building my gun. Jon emailed me last week and shared he would be sending me pics of my gun build. I can't wait until that package arrives at my front door.

Same here, have two coming and am dying to see them. Was wondering how long the shipment would take too... Just thought of that.

Re: Ulusub Spearfishing Co. New Speargun Range

I ordered a 110 cm mid handle from Jon almost a month ago, will be using this for my low-vis/halibut gun. I was promised pics over a week ago, he must be busy.

I ordered the 165 mid-handle and 150 euro. He said ship by tomorrow so hopefully he is hard at work. No photos as of yet.

I'd take a sonogram honestly
