Fins listing (leaning)

Aloha guys, haven't been on the forum in years but had a quick question. Just replaced my 7 year old c4 falcons with a pair of dive r composites in Cetma s wing pockets.

Went to pick up the fins and noticed on one fin the end of the blade leans over to one side . The shop owner and I spent some time applying pressure and seeing if the fin would straighten out but no luck. He thinks it might be the way therail was applied but isn't sure either as he sells mostly carbon and hasn't noticed any listing before.

He offered to refund me the fins but Im on the fence about it. Wanted to ask you guys if this is a normal thing that won't affect fin performance or if it will go away with use or if it's something to worry about. The listing is minor but noticable when looking down the length of the fin.

Mahalo,
Landon

I haven't seen or heard of fins doing this, granted I haven't gone through that many fin pairs (4 pairs). From the many pairs I've seen however, I haven't seen a listing and wouldn't consider it normal.
Even if the rail is causing the listing, I would have them provide you with another blade and pocket. Fins are definitely not cheap and I'd want to make sure both fins are symmetrical to one another.

The shop could remove the rail and see if it really is the rail causing the list. Then reinstall after. Just my thoughts.
