Deal on Marine AM/FM CD player for your boat.

I just bought 2 of these because the deal was so good. Installed one in my boat and its awesome. The reason I got it is because the control unit can mount wherever you want it and is compact, and the deck/CD player can be mounted out of the way.
At $57.49 its an amazing deal on a high quality unit.
Note: the ipod accesory attachment that comes with it is not all that great, but works.

X2. I got mine from BOEmarine. Awesome radio.

NPR-What did you do for your iPod? I drilled a hole in an otter box and used some gasket putty to seal the hole. Then I velcro'd the box to the inside of my console. My method works, but I'm always searching for better solutions.

That is a good deal. I didn’t need the CD and wanted USB with small waterproof speakers for my center console. I found this its more money but also a good deal: http://cruisingwithtunes.com/100_watt_Amp_with_Radio_USB_Remote_Control.aspx
The sound is ok and is about as good as I was expecting for moto speakers.

My radio is all inside the pilothouse so I dont have to keep it dry. I just ran the ipod cable up to the dash and let it sit there.

Your otter box sounds pretty good to me.

fishizzle77,
i know you liked my otter box idea it was a cheap solution, the box was what $5 from walmart. Pelican actually makes a case just for the ipod with a sealed connection just for this purpose. It is about $40. the otter box will suffice for the maiden voyage
