All About Pole Spears & Slings What is it about that traditional method of the early hunter/gatherers under the water? These devices are indeed interesting and effective. |

Palantic Carbon Finre Polespears
Can't find much info on these except on ebay you find them sold by stores under "travel Pole Spears". They are either yellow fibre glass or grey carbon fibre ones in different lenghts. Come with floppers. Three promgs etc. amybody has any experience with them?

Re: Palantic Carbon Finre Polespears
I've used them when I first got started and as loaners to friends. I even shot a few hogs and a mutton in the Bahamas with one! They are ok, iMO, get a decent pole spear from a well known manufacturer on a well known website and don't look back. Save the $50-70 you will pay to eBay and put it towards something else more refined. I shoot an 8' Gatku and haven't been happier with the money well spent!
