Re: Long Island daily vis thread
I was just at Smith Point with the fam. Ocean was small and looked clean. You were able to see the light blue of the sand bars just off shore. It should be ok for tomorrow especially if there are no clouds which that's what the reports are calling for. I'm going tomorrow am slack bridge/shinny.

Gonespearing I was one of those 8 divers but my buddy and I were spearing. The other guys were mapping/gridding the bottom. Didn't see one bass go by. I came up to you after you came out of the water. I was parked in front of you. Nice tog and see you out there.

Re: Long Island daily vis thread
Got out to Moriches inlet Wednesday with Raptor man..
Nice clean water off the west jetty and still plenty of keeper tog but the bass weren't there surprisingly even though the party boats are slaying them during the day.. See you guys in the spring - Jimmy |

Re: Long Island daily vis thread
You guys can borrow the Raptor whenever you want. I bought it to spearfish out of and haul my kids around so doesn't do any good sitting in the driveway. A lot of fisherman around Wednesday didn't get a chance to really gun it. They get pissed when you blow past them at 80 mph.
Headed back out today for incoming. Come on vis no whammies!!! |
