Re: bands shopping
When buying bands will a small ID band stretch the same as a regular band? For instance I shoot a 62” band on my roller gun. Will a small ID band be easier to load than a regular band at the same length?

Re: bands shopping
Hey Diver278,
I use the 14.5mm small ID’s on all my guns now. In my opinion, the difference between a 14.5mm small ID and the 16mm regular ID is so small, I cannot tell the difference. By the way, I forgot to mention that my tubing is made by Primeline Industries in Ohio. I have tested band material from Europe, Africa and China and none of it compares to Primeline. I even ship it over seas to guys in Europe who have access to European and Chinese latex. That should tell you how good this stuff is. If you get a chance, you should follow some posts made by SpearQ8. This guy knows his stuff and he says that over powered bands, actually result is less spear penetration because the spear does not fly as true. I totally agree with him. Also, if you get some 14.5mm small ID tubing, we carry some stainless steel wishbone inserts that were designed by SpearQ8 (that's why I call them Q8 inserts), and we also have some double loop wishbones, designed specifically for 14.5mm tubing. Both allow you to remove, add and change bands without re-tying a constrictor knot. https://www.makospearguns.com/Q8-Stainless-Steel-Wishbone-Inserts-p/mq8sswi.htm https://www.makospearguns.com/Rapid-Band-Change-Wishbones-p/mrbcw.htm Hope this helps. dive safe, dano

Re: bands shopping
Hey AEgir,
Good eye. That's a prototype muzzle from South Africa that I have been testing out. It has a shark prod on it. If you don't want the shark prod, it can be removed. Thanks for asking. dive safe, dano
