Agree! I have been routinely using the latest generation of the Spearfishing Specialties muzzle integrated light for months. It is the best gun mounted light I have seen or used. A single AA battery is great cost wise and functionally. Exceptional brightness for looking under ledges. I have had zero issues. A rechargeable Lithium ion AA battery significantly amps up the light output compared to an alkaline AA as well. I charge my Li Ion and use that and keep an alkaline AA in my dive bag in case I were to need it. Burn time on Li Ion is not as long as alkaline in this light, but the Li Ion will still get you through almost every day of diving on the single charge without an issue.
