GoPro upload without a computer?

Hi guys. I am not super tech savvy. I am hoping to borrow a buddies Pro2 silver for a trip. He has a couple 32gb cards I think. I have a ipad2. Is there anyway to upload videos at the end of the day to an external HD or cloud easily with what ive got?
Thanks!

Not using an ipad. There are no external hookups for the cards or external hard drive. Also, you might want to edit the vdos first before posting.

Yes, there are types of tools that are meant for photographers and videographers who are on the go and out on the field. For your specific application, it probably wont be worth it to buy for just one trip. Sorry, there is no easy answer for this. but copying videos from a gopro to a computer isnt hard, the most important thing is that there is enough space for all the files...

Re: GoPro upload without a computer?

It might be easiest to get a cheapy laptop, but I would rather spend the money on a 2atm float! Plus, it's one more thing to carry...

I will be away for a few weeks, and the cards will fill up in 1-2 days.
Please keep the ideas coming!
Thank you!
Chris

Found a wifi card reader at walmart today for $40.

Even cheaper on ebay.

Apple sells and sd card reader that you can plug straight into your ipad. BUT unless you have a jailbroken ipad and an app called ifile.. you can ONLY view them once you have downloaded them to the ipad...so after a few videos, unless you have the 64gb version, you might fill the tablet up quickly.

Re: GoPro upload without a computer?

I just got a hero 3+ silver. And I don't know but another option to look into perhaps would be putting the card into an android smart phone like a Galaxy s4?? They accept the same size memory card as the go pro. Idk about What apps and such you could use if it even works
