Re: Good freediving fins to get?
I 2nd that. The new Picasso footpocket is so comfortable and fits my foot perfect. Picasso doesn't seem to get the respect it should here on the East coast. I have been using Picasso pockets with DiveR "soft" blades and very happy. I do deep dives with the "soft" blades without problems. I don't see a need for the harder blade, but I only weigh 170lbs

Re: Good freediving fins to get?
I've bought Omer stingrays ealllast month. They are very different fom my trusty gara 2000s that I've dove for over 10 years. So far I'm noticing no increse in bottom time. Then again, until recently I used to hyperventilate onevery dive.
I guess I can sum it up by saying that I like them and am glad I bought em but they are waiting for my form to catch up to their advanced design

Re: Good freediving fins to get?
I think carbon blades have gotten a bad rap. Treat as good as you would anything you dropped five bills on (ie don't throw your weight belt on them) and they will treat you well. Take heed of what many of the other posters have said and make sure you select a footpocket that fits comfortably and allows you to fin efficiently. Good luck.
