Re: Laguna Beach Conditions Report "Perma-Thread"

4-29
Shaws
Temp was a little warmer maybe 62-63
Vis was spotty, some spots were 5' some were 12'
Surf was picking up a little as the day went on but didn't get too bad
Surge was low- medium

Saw some black perch, couple sargo, lots of bait, a calico and some random reef fish

Unfortunately I suck and didn't get anything

I dove borderline Laguna this evening. 8-10' vis, some spots better, some worse. A lot of fish out. A lot.

Laguna was definitely more blue than 8-10ft. I went out in the late afternoon today. I'd guess it was 12-15ft of vis on the reefs and 18ft of vis nearshore over the sand. It was a very welcome sight after the crazy weather of the Laguna Legacy tournament.

I plucked off a 9.5 lb sheephead after seeing dozens of smaller sized ones. Best part of the dive was sitting on the bottom looking at the sheepheads and watching a barely legal seabass cruise over the reef, make a full circle 10ft in front of me and then slowly swam away. Also found a green Frisbee.
