How many have witnessed a Lobster Bull Ring?

In over Forty years of Diving, I've rarely seen a congregation of Lobsters totally out in the open in the daytime that the Old Timers referred to as a BULLRING. Saturday, while looking for Halibut, we came upon this sight, and luckily I had my camera with me. It was easily the largest group IVE ever seen. Enjoy.

Pretty neat!..In 55 years of diving, only once have I encountered a (Catalina) on the sand migration of about 25 lobsters traveling nose to tail across the bottom....of course, it was out of season.....

Re: How many have witnessed a Lobster Bull Ring?

Thanks for sharing the video. I have seen a Lobster crawl just once off of Santa Cruz Island in the summer years ago. It was pretty cool to see them marching in a line on clean sand no where near any protective structure.

Cheers, Kadman

Not a ring but I've seen the seafloor carpeted with bugs a few times. Way more than this video I took last year.
