I do like how you said 'to hell' with the line release and just wrap it over the shark fin

Re: Pathos 130cm enclosed track railgun

i dont get the point of using a reverse mech to get more band stretch then using a hendrich release and throwing that extra stretch away and at the same time adding more unpowered length to the shaft. also if the bands are stock and cut to the back fin , but put on the front fin you also threw away 8% of the power of each band !

the only gun that has any reason using that release is a very wide gun with a raised handle (sea sniper ) since you cant use a side released (to wide ) or bottom release (raised handle )

I only have this gun rigged this way because I like it that way. I have a line release that works for this gun but i don't have it on right now.

Re: Pathos 130cm enclosed track railgun

I saw same thing plus size of tabs are huge! Why use that type of release, its a pain in the pooper to rig and the gun cant accurately shoot that far especially with 2 bands. And lastly Im not a fan of an enclosed track on a 2 band gun. Personally I dont think you gain any advantage. Cool factor ok Ill give you that but in practicality, Im not sure. Not hating on it just not flipping over it either. Please post up a report if you use.

What barrel are you using?

all that matters ,is that you like it that way ,you are the one using it , but for the masses its not the best choice ,and would have most people less than stoked the set up

Hmm, I have definitely shot that gun inside a playing card size spread at two full wraps many times in a pool. Not going to penetrate a whole lot at that distance but it hits it on a flat trajectory. With cable probably not so much but thin mono it will

Re: Pathos 130cm enclosed track railgun

I will put in another handle and rig it to the line release, the point of the post is the enclosed track.

The gun has a short 20mm band and a short 18mm band, it has a lot of power and will pull reel line out with a double wrap.

Re: Pathos 130cm enclosed track railgun

Phil by using the Heinrich on a reverse mech it only effects one of the bands, so 1 inch of band pull is lost on one of the bands.
