First off it has to be gutted and cleaned out so you can make it saltwater Worthy on the inside.
I picked it up almost 3 weeks ago.Click image for larger version

ID:	203280 so as you can see I took the raised carpet floor out the fiberglass resin in the pink foam. had to grind the Resin out. it ruined the perfect floor in the bottom of this boat. They made a fiberglass tunnel for the steering control cables and maybe the fuel tank line . the mechanism with the bolts is pure fiberglass resin formed up. Took a good 4.5 hours to get all stripped out the day after I got it.

Now the wheels were spinning in my head, to make it like my zodiac rib as in, easy to dive out of.[ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]Click image for larger version

Yepper Malibujohn the paint is dry for a week or so now, so I think it needs to go for a test run soon.

Re: 13'6" Dell Quay Restoration to Dive Boat

Well as of Sunday the boat will be gone, at least it's going to go to a diver, and the mariner that's in the pictures in the thread is going to be put into the boat when it leaves. He can take it apart and fix it. He lives in the San Juan Islands and lives on a small island so he'll be using the boat daily. So I'm gonna do my final ride in it up at deception Pass, that's where he's gonna leave from.

If he decides that he doesn't want it I'll post here again, I sent him pictures as it's now just a motor on it and the center scuba seat set up. The new impeller fresh lower unit oil new prop, new plugs that Suzuki 30 hp ready to go.
