You may be softening the metal and weakening it further during your straightening out process.
Then the next time it is stressed it bends easier than before at the same place. A new heat treat may be required to return it to its original condition. |

No WSB is going to bend your 11/32 shaft unless you shoot that 100lber that Bill missed and it takes you in a cave.
