I'll join the peanut gallery. The shark was obviously eyeballing the shit out of the diver. He didn't poke or make an aggressive move until the shark turned nose to him. My, albeit limited experience, is that getting aggressive with a shark and poking towards the head when they're parallel to you is much better than doing it after they decided to go for a test bite (have not experienced this, initial aggression has always made them break contact at least for awhile)
