Re: US Fresh Water Spearfishing Nationals

I just got back from the Freshwater Nationals- my team was spanked! It was fun diving and fishing though. Thanks to the RMSA for organizing it and putting on a great event. Congrats to all the other teams that did well. Hopefully some of you can join us at Deer Creek on June 1st.

We have also posted the other two UT events for the summer, the RMSA hooked us up with even more prizes, so it will be worth your time!

Re: US Fresh Water Spearfishing Nationals

A monster thanks to all the divers, helpers and the sponsors.
This was a hughe undertaking for very few people, and I am glad its over and went well.
We blew our engine the first 11 minutes of the game so only got to hunt about 4-5 hrs as we got towed back to the finish line ): But my boy and I made the best of it and hunted our brains out, and got 40 fish each We then hunted Willow on Monday morning and of the 4 of us Kelston shot the only 2 stripers

All the Nationals details, pictures, video, results.... are at:www.rockymountainspearfishing.org
as well as details of the next 3 Ut hunts, thanks to Dive Addicts jumping in to host them

Next years Fresh Water Nationals are Pierre SD Aug 17-19 watch for details and plan for some fun game fish up there. All the big dogs are coming in and Hawaii want to stay on top.

See ya at Deer Creek

Kelston is a crazy diver for being so young. It was good to meet you guys and thanks again for all the hard work. I learned a lot of lessons at Nationals and I'm hoping to implement them next year for a much better showing.
