Where can I purchase an offset double flopper 7mm shaft for my 130 Riffe Euro?

Re: Offset double flopper shafts
Not sure what you mean by "offset", but for a Riffe 130 Euro I recommend you get a 10cm shorter shaft (160cm rather than 170cm). As a double floppered shaft, it is hard to beat a Trygon double floppered shaft. It has both floppers recessed into the shaft which make it extremely streamlined and it has a "lock" on the double floppers that once engaged the floppers will not close if there is some slack in the line (which can allow a fish to slip out). The Trygon has a 7.2mm diameter which I think is perfect as the default Riffe Euro shaft on the 130 is 7.1mm. The Euro has dropped quite a bit when compared to the US dollar so the shafts are much more affordable. The steel the shafts uses has to be the hardest and stiffest I have ever seen on SS. Also the floppers are rated to hold more than half a ton!

Addiction Spears. You can get them with replaceable tips as well, and custom the fin placements. As you can tell, I'm super happy with the quality.

Re: Offset double flopper shafts
Addiction. Best service and shafts. Since I ‘ve ordered my first shaft from them I never look at other brands and always order Addiction stuff, regardless of shipping cost. And Dean is the MAN. Ordered few shafts just prior to Xmas. Dean was probably very busy with orders and sent me shafts with less tabs than ordered. I let him know. He apologised …and made new shafts absolutely free. I recommend other suppliers to measure and benchmark quality of their services against Dean’s!

Re: Offset double flopper shafts
Can second Spearq8s comments on the Trygon shafts,I got 3 a while ago for my bleutecs and the double flopper shaft is well designed with the recess for the floppers to sit into as opposed to on top of the shaft.
Vamforce are you still in NZ?,my new boat is nearly finished so can get you out in the next few weeks |
