Never Loan Your Gun

A recent video of a dive with my son. He did end up shooting a few fish. Nice conditions off Palm Beach

I thought that was a great video of a professional calming dealing with a stressful situation . Way to get the shaft back. I think a lot of others would have lost it.

Re: Never Loan Your Gun

The stressful part was not screaming at him when I loan him the gun with the light on it and he doesn't unload one band before pulling the trigger under a hole.

Boy, if I had a dollar for every time I had to do that... I'd have a few dollars!

He needed more power.

Re: Never Loan Your Gun

Junior out-shoots me almost always when freediving and all too often on scuba. Apparently he's acquired my typical "brute force" problem solving techniques, but a little finesse is often much better.

Not too long ago, he did get to watch me put a Phillips head screw diver through my hand on the night before a tournament - So I do expect him to recognize the potential drawbacks of brute force solutions. LOL

I'm sure he'll never be able to out shout your underwater capabilities, master.

Don't you just hate that? My son out shoots me too. Should have never taught him to dive and spearfish...
