Re: Spearboard bar

Inlaws came over for dinner.Did some chuck eyes, bbq beans with bourbon, mashed potatoes with skin and ceasars salad. But first I made Nargarittas!(spanish)

Blue Nargaritta

1 shot gold tequila
1/2 shot Grand Marnier
1/2 shot Cruzan Mango rum
1/2 shot blue curacao

Pour contents into small stainless tumbler with crushed ice and top with simply limeade and shake the hell out of it.Pour into salted Margaritta glass and pour a floater of Mango rum on top and garnish with slice of mango.

Diet went to hell and Im sloshed

Thanks,I usually do Cigars International for my La Perlas when I see a sale but they have been about 3 bucks a stick on sale. The money saved could get me a nice big humidor!

Re: Spearboard bar

I have been buying sampler 6 packs of beer.
The Northern lights was pretty good for a light beer. The Oculto was great to me but I like Tequila.Sort of tastes like a beerita.

Re: Spearboard bar

Try a Bell's Two Hearted Ale if you get a chance. I was pleasantly trashed in no time.

You can change the recipe to your taste. We use Simply Apple juice and local cider. This stuff will hit hard so you need to sip not drink.

Re: Spearboard bar

Got some cigars in!La Perla WIDE,1515,Black and Tan(for the nephew)H.UPMANN Reserve and some Rocky Patel seconds.
Had a Victor Sinclair in the hot tub the other night with some Jim Beam.Probably the worst cigar I have ever smokedTasted bad, smelled bad and burned bad.Took a shower and still couldnt get the stench off me.
Probably need to look into a bigger humidor.

Re: Spearboard bar

My favorite beer is orange blossom pilsner (OBP). The brewery is out of Orlando, FL. It has a very slight hint of orange and honey. They also have the OBP2 that has been highly recommended to be but I havent got a chance to try. I was told that its very similar to the OBP but the flavors are concentrated and comes with a higher alcohol content.

Other than beers I only really like to drink tequila and vodka (rarely). I fell in love with tequila thanks to my dad (and heritage). When my immediate family lived in Mexico he collected tequila bottles. At the peak of his collection he had over 150 bottles of premium liquor.

I'm just starting to get into cigar smoking. I had a couple of cubans that I have really enjoyed and a handful of Dominicans I liked too. I definitely like the mild bodies cigars much better, the full bodied smokes tend to make me feel sick ..

Re: Spearboard bar

Been getting cheaper in my old age, I'm smoking these little cigars that are like Backwoods, but they're called 1882's. Their $1.82 for a pack of 3. They aren't too bad. I had too many quality problems with Backwoods; too tight, holes, not rolled at all, etc. Screw them.

Bell's Two Hearted Ale for my beer, and pretty much all foofy umbrella drinks, or Grey Goose dirty on the rocks with blue cheese stuffed olives.
