South Jetty at Newport - look to buy a cheap Euro gun 80 - 90 cm
Went line fishing and spearfishing off the south jetty Monday. The the sea conditions were great with low swell and no wind. Vis was about 4-6 feet by the jetty and 4 - 8 out by our boat. No fish seen after about 45 mins of diving so I gave up. Was there a few weeks back with slightly better results.
I would like to buy a cheap (less than $75.00) Euro gun for my son to use contact me at andrew@goodimpressions.us Last edited by AndrewBurnett; 06-13-2012 at 11:19 AM. Reason: add info. |

http://www.imersion.us/index.php?lg=...am=34&prod=251 You could pick up a new 75cm for $85 shipped. Others on the board have imersion guns and they seem to be decent quality. I think Casey just bought one, you could ask him. |

Re: South Jetty at Newport - look to buy a cheap Euro gun 80 - 90 cm
I fish with a 75cm rail gun with a 100cm shaft and I love it. The stock shaft that will come with the gun will be stainless which is good. Later if you want to upgrade to a hardened steel shaft and/or a shorter band you can always do that. The band will depend on how strong your kid is. Happy hunting and welcome!
